• Minimum age to work in onboard- sixteen(16), under eighteen (18) will not allow to work on night watch
• Safe employment agreement
• Rest hours
• Payment of wages
• Paid anual leave
• Repatriation at end of the contract
• Onboard medical care 
• Proper accommodation and food
• Health and safety protection.

Rest hours

Minimum rest hours not exceed than

 14 hours in any 24 hours

 72 hours in any 7 days 

Maximum rest hours shall not less than

10 hours in any 24 hours 

77 hours in any 7 days
