HOW WILL YOU TEST THE CRANK CASE RELIEF VALVE

TESTING OF CRANK CASE RELIEF VALVE

• After engine is stopped,
• Remove the flame trap after that  press up the valve disc and check the the action of opening and closing movement
• the valve should be opened smartly, and closed positively and rapidly.
• the valve must be oil and gas tight
• when engine is running we must only check the oil leakage it will indicate the valve is sealed or not.
